On Sunday, March 20, please join me with my kids for Sand Art on Swami’s Beach from 3-5PM.
We’ll gather rocks, seaweed, bamboo, flowers, whatever else we can find on the beach, and arrange them into art. Feel free to bring flowers from your garden or anything else that can wash away with the tide. You can also bring simple tools, like small shovels, sticks, or rakes to make interesting patterns in the sand.
If possible, let me know if you can come so I have an idea of who will be there. You are welcome to drop in for this activity, too, since we are outside and supplies are not an issue.
Finally, I am hoping we will take some photos of our creations and turn them into cards.
All are welcome. All ages.
Update: We had a wonderful time making art together on the beach, using stones, seaweed, flowers, sticks, and other plant materials. Afterwards, my mom and I made cards to gift to everyone who came. “We’ll just make a few blank cards with the photos. It’ll be easy.” 6 hours later. We made 135 cards in total. Each one trimmed. Each card folded from good quality art paper. Very happy with these!
